Theres nothing like wine country. I wasn’t sure what to expect when going. I anticipated there being only a couple wineries to choose from with people stomping on grapes.  I had no idea there were over 500 vineyards and they really have the wine making process down to a science. Although I woulda liked mashing my feet into some grapes. The entry fee at some places were a little pricey, but worth it. You get to really know the back story of each place when you do the guided tours. I learned the techniques on how to sniff and stir wine. The different types of wine glasses and bottles. Proper food pairings etc… I def think wine tasting is a newly acquired hobby for me. I love going to the store and seeing bottles that came from some of the vineyards I visited. Needless to say wine makes for one of the best souvenirs.

It was chilly in the shade, so this duster jacket was a good accessory to have. You could get away wearing a skirt or shorts with tights but I opted for town jeans both days.

On our way to Napa we stopped and hiked Mira woods. It was absolutely beautiful. It was probably one of the most shaded hikes I have ever taken. These redwoods were the size of buildings and had been here for hundreds of years.

There were beautiful flowers everywhere in this part of the country that I don’t really see in Florida. I loved how it really seemed like Spring.

I was obsessed with seeing cala lily’s in the wild. These are my favorite flowers. They remind me of my mom because she has them all over her home as decor.
